Title : English Language Program in VCU Solution

Problem1 : Some ELP students are not satisfied with what they are taking.

1)Most ELP students think that pronunciation class is the least helpful to them.

       Solution1 : combine with speaking class

       Advantage : Decrease time and money

                        Students can learn and apply well                                        

       Solution2 : change the curriculum for more helpful

                      - Search other successful curriculums (move the time)

                      - study or survey for improve students’ skill

                       Advantage : decrease students’ complaints

2)  Students who are taking both ELP courses and academic courses at the same time think that ELP courses are unhelpful to their academic courses.

       Solution1:  change the rule

                     ( students cannot take both courses at the same time)

                      Advantage : students can attention their ELP courses

                           - they can improve their skill

                           -they will study harder for taking academic courses(exit ELP)

Problem2 : Some ELP students think that ELP officers are not helpful to them

        Solution1 :   ELP officers take program of service for more kindness

                           -need some money

       Solution2 :   ELP officer make sure their job for decrease students’ confusion
